How to Know When It’s Time to Drop the Nap Completely
When should toddlers stop napping?
Most toddlers drop their final nap between 3 and 5 years old. Signs your child is ready to stop napping include consistent nap resistance, bedtime struggles, early morning wakeups, and the ability to make it through the day without being overtired. If these signs occur regularly for 2 or more weeks, it may be time to transition to quiet time and move bedtime earlier during the adjustment period.
